Volunteers needed! Sunday coffee after the 11:00 am Sunday Mass will be resuming in September as long as we get enough volunteers. All the information is below, so please consider this fun, social parish community ministry. If you have any questions Corinne would be happy to answer them.
Want to meet and socialize with your fellow parishioners?
The Sunday 11:00 am Coffee/Tea Ministry helps to provide a welcoming and gathering atmosphere at St. Pius X Parish.
Coffee, tea and juice with an assortment of treats are provided in the Great Hall of the Church on Sunday after the 11:00 am Mass. All are welcome to gather to meet fellow parishioners, catch up with those you haven't seen in a while, all towards building our Parish community.
Want to Volunteer?
You can volunteer on your own and be paired with another parishioner which is a way to meet new people. Or what about considering volunteering as a family group by getting the family involved. Volunteering requires setting up the tables, chairs, plating the food, making the coffee and tea, putting out the treats and then cleaning up afterwards. Generally set up can start at 10:15 am, attend the 11:00 am mass, and then clean up is generally completed by 1:00 pm.
Commitment depends on the number of volunteers we have. We need at least two per Sunday.
