Mass/service is celebrated on the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of each month at 1:30 pm in the afternoon.
Our priest and a small group of faithful volunteers provide this important activity which enables the residents of Berkley Care Centre to stay connected to their faith.
Many of the “church-going" residents are in wheelchairs so our volunteers must pick them up from their rooms and bring them to the Mass/service.
The staff have noticed that the residents who attend the Mass/service come away with a much brighter attitude and a peace of mind!
In addition, at Christmas time, our Parish purchases Christmas gifts for residents that don't have any family members. These presents are dropped off by our volunteers and are so appreciated by the residents.
